Hello Everyone! I recently downloaded the Walmart App and would like to review the Savings Catcher feature!

As you all know, I am all about saving money. I use coupons and love to ad match, so when I heard about the Walmart Savings Catcher, I was super excited.

What it is: Walmart’s Savings Catcher is basically a QR Scanner that scans your Walmart receipt and compares the Walmart price with the competitor’s ads. Within 3 days, Walmart refunds you the price difference including the tax cost.

How I feel: Use this tool as a backup for your coupons and ad matches. Don’t rely solely on it because the app seems to be restricted to big chain stores and not your local stores. It is a great tool to use in addition to your other saving methods and the Checkout51 app (see previous blog post) to earn extra money. Anyway… the refund Walmart gives you is in the form of a gift card to be used on future purchases.

Take home message: USE IN ADDITION TO COUPONS, YOUR OWN AD MATCHES, AND ANY OTHER CASHBACK APPS/CARDS YOU USE I.E., CHECKOUT 51.
